Who is Wasabi Medical?
Wasabi Medical was created by Dr Wayne Edwards (consultant anaesthetist Australia). Wasabi Medical started with educational meetings in a less formal structure in Rusutsu Japan in 2004/5. We have provided training and education in a variety of locations within Japan including Rusutsu, Niseko, Kiroro and Tokachi Sahoro.
Who can attend?
Wasabi invites Nurses, Doctors and any allied health provider interested in learning alongside their colleagues and exploring education in the stunning alpine region of northern Japan.
What topics are covered?
We aim to provide a range of topics related to peri-operative care and some of the trickier emergencies that health workers have to manage. We want to you to arrive a little nervous about your knowledge but leave feeling reassured that you are more capable than you knew.
